Dr W. S. McMurty donated land in 1883 for the previous location on Chruch Street which was dedicated on May 3, 1885. The church purchased five acres on Shannon Road from Charles Torrey in 1948. The Fellowship Hall was completed in 1953 and in 1958 the Sanctuary was completed.
