This structure was originally a thoroughbred horse barn moved to this location in the early to mid seventies. 
Our congregation formed and met for service in 1979 at the Alma College property on Bear Creek Road which we leased from the Jesuit owners.
 At the same time our Pastors took up residence here and converted the horse barn into a lovely home.
 Then the Jesuits sold the Alma College property and we became an inconvenience for the new owners.
 In 1994, it was necessary for us to move our entire ministry to this location.
